 Historical Note

The Ohio State University Equestrian Team was founded in 1986. Circa 2006, the team divided into two teams: the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team and the Western Equestrian Team, with each team practicing a different style of riding. The Hunt Seat Equestrian Team is a coed student club sport, open to any interested student regardless of riding skill level, and provides members with the opportunity to work with, ride, and show horses.
