 Historical Note

As of 2018, the American Marketing Association is a national, professional marketing association that was established in 1937. The Fisher College of Business student chapter at the Ohio State University was formed circa 1975 and is active as of 2018. The group’s purposes include facilitating networking and job opportunities and providing real-world marketing experiences and professional development. Interested students can join the group by turning in an application and paying membership dues, which grants them membership in both the local chapter and the national organization.
