Pi Omega Pi is a national business education honor society, which was founded in 1923. Its purposes include promoting interest, scholarship, and service in business education, and developing relationships between fellow business educators. The Alpha Xi chapter at Ohio State University was established in 1939 when members of the Commercial Education Club voted to join Pi Omega Pi. This chapter existed until 1964.
The Pi Omega Pi, Alpha Xi Chapter Records contain minutes, membership lists, reports, and other materials related to the management of this organization. Collection materials are dated 1937-1964.
