Historical Note

Circa the 1970s to the 1980s, Stradley 3 referred to the third floor of the Stradley Hall student residence hall at Ohio State University. Stradley Hall opened in January 1959 as a men’s dormitory, and became an all-women’s dorm in 1977. According to newsletters from the 1986-1987 school year, residents of Stradley 3 attended Hall Council, played intramural sports together, and often held activities with residents of nearby dormitory Park Hall. In 2012, a renovation of Stradley and Park Halls was completed, connecting the two buildings and creating Park-Stradley Hall, which, as of 2018, houses both men and women.
