 Historical Note

The University Farm Bureau Youth Council was a student organization at the Ohio State University that was active from 1947 to circa 1988. The group was created as a subsidiary of the National Farm Bureau, and promoted cooperative relationships between members, social events, and continued association with the Ohio and National Farm Bureaus. Membership was open to all, and a wide variety of activities occurred at the regular meetings; some of which were group discussions, speakers, folk games, square dancing, and group singing, with an emphasis on leadership development.
