Historical Note

Ethics Throughout Ohio State, or ETHOS, is a student organization at Ohio State University. ETHOS is a forum for Ohio State students to discuss, reflect, and debate over ethical questions and apply the answers to these questions to the Ohio State student community. There are two programs that have stemmed from ETHOS efforts: the annual ETHOS Address and the ETHOS Across the Disciplines. At the ETHOS Address, an honored faculty member delivers a lecture to the current members of ETHOS. The ETHOS Across the Disciplines is an event that features “web talks” which invites “faculty to reflect” on questions asked during regular ETHOS meetings. As of 2017, ETHOS is an active student organization.
