The Green Ribbon Commission was a commission planned to be called into existence by student organizations when an confrontation involving Ohio State University students was impending. The commission was to be called as witnesses to violent and nonviolent demonstrations as impartial observers and serve as a liaison. Each member would be identified by a green ribbon and name tag.
