            <abstract id="ref20" label="Abstract">Niki Z. Schwartz attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate student and then as a law student from 1956 until the early 1960s. He participated in efforts to reform campus policies on student rights. The Niki Z.Schwartz Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording contains a recording and transcript of an oral history with Nikki Z. Schwartz conducted on January 8, 2013. In the interview, Schwartz discusses his experience with political issues on campus.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Niki Z. Schwartz (1938-) attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate student and then as a law student from 1956 until the early 1960s. He was one of the former Ohio State University students who was a plaintiff in a lawsuit charging discriminatory practices by off-campus landlords and in the Speaker's Rule controversy of the 1960s. Schwartz was also the vice president of Senior Class Committee and the president of Arts College Student Council.</p>

            <p>The Niki Z.Schwartz Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recoding contains an oral history recoding on compact disc and transcript with Nikki Z. Schwartz conducted by Bill Shkurti on January 8, 2013. In the interview, Schwartz discusses his experiences with political issues as an undergraduate, and then law student, at Ohio State University in the 1950s and 1960s. His experiences include work to combat racial discrimination in off-campus housing, abolishing the Speakers Rule, and his involvement with the College of Arts Student Council.</p>
