Rosalind Strapp (1905-1986), known by Rosie Morrison while attending the Ohio State University, graduated in 1927 with a bachelor of science in Education. Rosalind ran for Homecoming Queen in fall 1926, and while she won, refused the title due to evidence of voter fraud; though there were approximately 10,000 students at the time, more than 12,000 votes had been cast. As a result Maudine, a cow from the Agriculture School, was crowned Homecoming Queen.
