 Biographical Note

Doctor Hursh Reginald Yost (1890-April 1984) received his doctor of veterinary medicine from the Ohio State University in 1914, and his Bachelor of Arts in 1928. While at Ohio State University, he was a member of the Acacia fraternity, the Veterinary Medical Society, the Manhattan Club, the Regimental Band, and the University Players.

The Hursh R. Yost Lecture Notes contains lecture notebooks from a variety of classes Hursh R. Yost attended as a student at the Ohio State University during the years 1912 through 1914. Topics covered include veterinary surgery, pathology, diseases, and animal husbandry.
