Biographical Note

Jeff Schwartz (born September 16, 1943) was a student of arts at Ohio State University from 1961 until 1965. He was very active in Student Senate, beginning his service and campaigns during his freshman year. Schwartz led a group called Free Speech Front on campus to protest the "Speaker's Rule," which allowed university presidents to ban guest speakers who views did not agree with the school's. He also planned and executed civil rights rallies at Ohio State University, a “Student Power” program, a Faculty Book Drive for a racially segregated town in Louisiana, and led multiple student organizations. Following university, Schwartz worked as a lawyer for over 30 years, and also worked as an organizational effectiveness coach and consultant.
