 Biographical Note

John Charles Bancroft graduated from the Ohio State University College of Engineering in 1936 with a Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering, and in 1937 with a Master of Science degree. While at the Ohio State University, Bancroft was a member of Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma, Tau Beta Pi, and the American Institute of Metallurgical Engineers.

The Charles Bancroft Papers contain items from Charles Bancroft's time as a student at the Ohio State University, including his diploma and a photo album.
