            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Arthur Bailey Townshend (1855-1929) graduated from the Ohio State University in 1878 with his Bachelor's of Science. Townshend was one of the six members of the first class to graduate from Ohio State University. During his time at university, Townshend was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Epsilon Chapter, and was one of the founders of the Alcoyne Literary Society. In 1880, Townshend enrolled in the Starling Medical College.</p>
