            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Alleyne Higgs Jones (1904-1987) was an arts student at Ohio State University from 1922 until 1926. Higgs was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, Young Women’s Christian Association, and Women’s Athletic Association. Higgs was the captain of the Delta Delta Delta basketball team in 1923.</p>

            <p>The Alleyne Higgs Jones Papers contain the contents of a scrapbook kept by Alleyne Higgs Jones, including women's athletic association constitution and banquet program, inter-sorority basketball banquet program, an Athletic Association ticket book, and a football schedule. The materials date from 1922 to 1925.</p>
