 [Biographical/Historical] Note

Gabe Hedges was an undergaduate student at Ohio State from the fall of 2016 until the spring of 2020. Along the way, Hedges served as a dorm resident advisor and as a community advisor for Buckeye Village. He graduated in May 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, but took many classes in computer programming, which helped him land a post-graduation job for a healthcare software company in Wisconsin.

 Scope and Contents

The Gabe Hedges Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording, dated April 9, 2020, contains a transcript and audio recording on compact disc of an oral history interview of Hedges. In it, Hedges discusses his time at Ohio State as an undergaduate student, particularly his tenure as a dorm advisor, and as a community advisor for Buckeye Village, an apartment complex for married and graduate students. Hedges describes his role there at rewarding and challenging, particularly during his last semester during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
