 Biographical Note

Susan Traver was a student at Ohio State University in the early 1970s.

 Scope and Contents

The Susan Traver Papers contains three photographs of Ohio State University campus taken circa 1970 and 1971. One photograph was taken at the intersection of possibly 12th Avenue and High Street and one was taken at the intersection of 15th Avenue and High Street. The third photograph shows Traver standing in front of the original University Hall with the clock in the clock tower removed to prepare for demolition. The collection also contains an oral history interview transcript and recording on compact disc. In the interview, Traver discusses her time as a student at Ohio State University's Lima and Columbus campuses and her eventual career.

She started at the Lima branch when classes met in a high school since no buildlings had been constructed yet for the branch. After transferring to Columbus Traver attended classes while working, first as a keypunch operator, then in a social services position with the state of Ohio. Scope and Contents
