            <head>Scope and Contents</head>
            <p>The Richard A. Boyd Papers contains handwritten notes written by Boyd for a course on football strategy and training that then Ohio State University Football Coach Woody Hayes taught in the summer of 1955. The collection also contains a transcript and compact disc recording of an oral history interview conducted with Boyd by Kevlin Haire on February 28, 2017. In the interview, Boyd discusses his time as a student in the College of Education at Ohio State University and his career in education after receiving his masters degree from Ohio State University.</p>
