 Biographical Note

Richard A. Boyd received his masters degree from the College of Education at Ohio State University in 1958.

 Scope and Contents

The Richard A. Boyd Papers contains handwritten notes written by Boyd for a course on football strategy and training that then Ohio State University Football Coach Woody Hayes taught in the summer of 1955. The collection also contains a transcript and compact disc recording of an oral history interview conducted with Boyd by Kevlin Haire on February 28, 2017. In the interview, Boyd discusses his time as a student in the College of Education at Ohio State University and his career in education after receiving his masters degree from Ohio State University.
