The Dale Gnidovec Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording, dated February 4 2019, contains a transcript and audio recording on compact disc of an oral history interview of Dale Gnidovec. In it, he discusses his career as Collections Manager and Curator of the Orton Geological Museum at The Ohio State University.</abstract>

        <bioghist id="ref20">
            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Dale Gnidovec has a bachelors of science in geology from Muskingum College, a masters of science in geology from Fort Hays (Kansas) State University, and has done Ph.D. work at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. As of 2021, he is the Collections Manager and Curator of the Orton Geological Museum at the Ohio State University, a job he has held since 1989. Gnidovec was originally hired as a collections manager, but his duties expanded rapidly to include outside talks and tours of the museum. In addition, he has made a number of trips over the years to Montana to do field research in the summer, and he teaches an Earth Science class at Ohio State University during the spring semester.</p>
