Faith Robinson Lanman (Gorrell) (1881-1966) was the head of the Ohio State University Department of Home Economics from 1920 to 1945. During this time, she established a Nursery School which was used a lab for students to gain real-world experience in early childhood education. Lanman also authored several books about cooking, food, family living, and home economics.
The Faith R. Lanman Handbook of Recipes, dated 1933, contains a recipe book used by Lanman.
