Catherine Marting Bremner (1917-2019) earned her Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin, and a PhD from the Ohio State University in 1950. She taught basketball to women's physical education majors at the Ohio State University, and put on a student-faculty basketball game.
The Catherine Marting Bremner Papers, dated circa 1940-1954, contain items documenting her time working and studying for her PhD at the Ohio State University, such as a scrapbook, her teacher's certificate, and photographs of Bremner playing tennis.
