 Biographical Note

As of 2021, Dr. Sabine Jeschonnek is a professor of physics at the Ohio State University at Lima. She received her diploma of physics in 1993, and her PhD in physics in 1996, both from the University of Bonn in Germany. Jeschonnek has taught at the Ohio State University at Lima since 2001.

The Sabine Jeschonnek Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording, dated June 29, 2020, contains a transcript and audio recording on compact disc of an oral history interview of Sabine Jeschonnek. In it, Jeschonnek discusses her time as a professor at the Ohio State University at Lima, her research on nuclear theory, her involvement in the creation of an engineering technology degree at Ohio State-Lima, and her non-academic roles as University Senator and a faculty leader for the student organization, Girls Who Code.
