                    <abstract id="ref3" label="Abstract">In an interview Dr. Mary Elizabeth Fontana shares her experience as a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University. She attended OSU for both undergraduate and medical school. After an internship in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Fontana returned to Ohio State for her residency and remained. Fontana discusses several roles she held, including her directorship of the Independent Study Program and her involvement in developing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training programs. She also discusses curriculum changes and her involvement with patients.</abstract>
