            <p>The John Gabel Papers contain correspondence (letters and email messages) with co-editors David Citino, Charles Wheeler and Anthony York and other materials related to English Proffessor John Gabel's role as editor of 
                <emph render="italic">The Bible as Literature</emph>, a textbook published by Oxford University Press. It also contains reprinted poems sent to Gabel by author David Citino.</p>
