Denise Deschenes was a psychiatrist in the Counseling and Consultation Service in the Office of Student Life at Ohio State University as of 2017.

The Denise Deschenes Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc contains a transcript and audio recordings on compact disc of an oral history interview with Denise Deschenes conducted by Emily Earick, Jaren Francis, and Ehsan Shirazi on February 25, 2014. Denise Deschenes discusses her career path to OSU, her upbringing in New Hampshire, getting into and getting through medical school and her work at the counseling center. She also discusses the environment for women and gay graduate students on campus during the time period she was a graduate student.
