            <abstract id="ref20" label="Abstract">The Joan Herbers Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc contains a printed transcript and audio recordings of an oral history interview conducted February 11, 2014. Professor Herbers discusses her involvement as principal investigator for OSU’s Project CEOS (Comprehensive Equity at Ohio State), gender issues she’s faced throughout her academic career, academic politics, and gender and ethnicity issues at Ohio State University. Joan M. Herbers served as a dean of the College of Biological Sciences, a professor in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, and a professor in the Department of Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies at Ohio State University.</abstract>
