Heather C. Allen came to Ohio State University in 2000 and was a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and in the Department of Pathology at Ohio State University as of 2017.

 Scope and Contents

The Heather Allen Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording contains a printed transcript and audio recording on compact disc of an oral history of Heather Allen, conducted by Joanna Spanos on December 19, 2013. Heather Allen discusses her academic career, the climate for women in the Department of Chemistry and later the merge with the Department of Biochemistry, mentors, her own mentoring, and how women and members of underrepresented groups are perceived by students.
