Jack O. Evans (1915-2001) was hired into the Ohio State University School of Music in 1947 and retired in 1973. He directed the Marching Band for 12 seasons. Carol Jones Evans (1914-2009) taught public school music for 37 years. Jack and Carol were married June 22, 1940.
The Carol and Jack O. Evans Interview Transcripts contains a transcript of four interviews with Jack and Carol Evans conducted in 2000 by former Ohio State University Marching Band Director and School of Music Professor Paul Droste.
