            <p>The Susan Hartmann Susan Hartmann Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording contains a printed transcript and audio recordings on compact disc of an oral history interview with Susan Hartmann conducted by Deborah Ballam on June 23, 2013. Professor Hartmann discusses her career at Ohio State University, getting her doctorate in history from the University of Missouri thanks to an NDEA (National Defense Education Act) Fellowship, the transition from a Center for Women’s Studies to a Department of Women’s Studies, and her role in general as well as the role of women overall at Ohio State.</p>
