 Biographical Note

Jon Richard Woods (1939-2015) was a professor of music in the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio State University. He was the Associate Director of the Marching Band for 10 years and Director for 28 years.

 Scope and Contents

The Jon Woods Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording contain a printed oral history transcript and audio recordings on a compact disc of an oral history interview with Jon Woods conducted by Kevlin Haire on February 14, 2013. Dr. Woods discusses his education and career as the associate director and director of the Ohio State University Marching Band.
