William Joseph Studer (1936-) was the fifth director of University Libraries at Ohio State University, serving from 1977 to 1999.

 Scope and Contents

The William J. Studer Oral History Transcript and Compact Disc Recording contains a printed transcript and audio recording on compact disc of an oral history interview with William J. Studer conducted by Raimund Goerler on August 18, 2011. Studer discusses his tenure at Ohio State University as fifth Director of University Libraries from 1977 to 1999. He also discusses various developments in academic libraries, both technical and philosophical.
