 Biographical Note

Donald W. Good (1933-) was a professor of English at Ohio State University. He served as associate vice provost and acting dean for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences from 1974 to 1980, University Ombudsman from 1980 to 1985, again as associate vice provost and acting dean from 1985 to 1988, and then as assistant dean and secretary for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences.

 Scope and Contents

The Donald W. Good Oral History Transcript and Audiocassette Recordings contains a transcript and audiocassettes of an oral history interview with Donald W. Good on September 21, 2006. Interview discussion topic include starting the doctoral program in English, Good's appointment as Director of Freshman English, Secretary of the Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences, associate vice provost, and his four years as Ombudsman.
