Biographical Note

Frank Cary Caldwell (1868-1953) was the first professor of electrical engineering at Ohio State University.

The Frank C. Caldwell Papers contain correspondence, articles, published and unpublished manuscripts, alumni materials from Cornell, materials on the Army Signal Corps, tracings for wiring motors, Prague lectures and letters, OSU Electrical Engineering class of 1929 photographs, broadcasts, reports, Edward Orton commemoration materials and university committee files.
