 Biographical Note

Everett Walters (1915-1997) was an associate professor of history at Ohio State University. He also served as dean of the Graduate School from 1957 to 1963.

 Scope and Contents

The Everett Walters Oral History Transcript and Audiocassette Recordings contains an oral history transcript and audiocassette tapes of an oral history interview with Everett Walters conducted by Lewis Branscomb on August 13, 1986. Discussion topics include Dr. Walters' career at Ohio State University as a professor and dean, creation of a course for graduate students on college teaching, creation of the Annual Conference of the Humanities, and Walters' assistance in resurrecting the Ohio State University Press.
