William Jesse Griffith (1928-2012) was a professor in the College of Education at Ohio State University. He became the assistant vice president in the Office of Campus Planning and Space Utilization in 1967.
The William Griffith Oral History Transcript and Audiocassette Recordings contain a transcript and audiocassette recordings of an oral history interview with William J. Griffith conducted by Charles Corbato on March 27, 2003. Griffith discusses his contributions during sixteen years as Head of Campus Planning at the Ohio State University, the creation of the University District Organization, making the campus accessible, the construction of West Campus, Lincoln and Morrill Towers, and the rebuilding of University Hall.
