Harold A. Bolz (1911-1999) served as dean of the College of Engineering at Ohio State University.

 Scope and Contents

The Harold Bolz Oral History Transcript and Audiocassette Recordings contain a transcript and audiocassettes of an oral history interview with Harold A. Bolz conducted by Robert Sutton on April 13, 1983. Interview discussion topics include Bolz's position as Dean of the College of Engineering, observed changes in engineering education, and its relationship to industry. Bolz discusses the relationships among the deans, department chairs, and faculty, as well as the development of the College of Engineering and its various departments.
