Herbert B. Asher (1944-) was a professor of political science at Ohio State University. He also served as Special Assistant to the President for Government Relations and Senior Vice President for Government Affairs.

The Herbert B. Asher Oral History Transcript and Audiocassette Recordings contain a transcript and 8 audiocassettes of the interview, conducted by Marvin Zahniser on October 27, 2003.
