Weikko Aleksanteri Heiskanen (1895-1971) was a professor of geology at Ohio State University. He helped establish the Department of Geodetic Science, the first at an American university.
The front of this book is inscribed with "This memory book has been dedicated to Weikko A. Heiskanen by his friends and colleagues upon his retirement from the Ohio State University in 1965."
