Alvah Peterson (1888-1972) was a professor in the Department of Entomology at Ohio State University from 1928 to 1958. His research focuses were in the structure of thrips, microphotography of insect eggs, and techniques for the study of insects in the field and laboratory.
The Alvah Peterson Papers contain biographical files, including obituaries and an award from American Letters. It also contains published and unpublished writings, correspondence with a former student, and cash journals concerning the sale of his books.
