Charles Dolman Cooper (1899-1969) was a professor of the Department of Engineering Graphics at Ohio State University. Charles married Mary Gladys Bolon (1899-1989) in 1923. Gladys attended Muskingham College and worked as a substitute teacher in Columbus public schools. She kept a personal diary nearly every day over a fifty year period.
The Charles D. and Gladys Bolon Cooper Papers contain Cooper family papers, a letter of congratulations to Cooper, and diaries written by Cooper's wife, Gladys Bolon Cooper.
This series contains two booklets on engineering drawing problems, undergraduate papers, personal family papers, and Donald Cooper's undergraduate papers.
This series contains a letter of congratulations from Thomas French to Cooper about his promotion to full professor.
This series contains diaries written by M. Gladys Bolon Cooper, Cooper's wife, from age 40 until her death in 1989. The diaries cover the life of a faculty wife, who also was a substitute school teacher in Columbus. The series also includes transcriptions of the diaries by her son, as well as some family genealogical information.
