            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Charles Dolman Cooper (1899-1969) was a professor of the Department of Engineering Graphics at Ohio State University. Charles married Mary Gladys Bolon (1899-1989) in 1923. Gladys attended Muskingham College and worked as a substitute teacher in Columbus public schools. She kept a personal diary nearly every day over a fifty year period.</p>
