 Biographical Note

David Owen Jones (1921-1985) was a professor of veterinary preventive medicine at Ohio State University from 1949 to 1983. He was Deputy Health Commissioner and Health Commissioner for the City of Upper Arlington, Ohio from 1966 to his death.

The David Owen Jones Papers contain two articles written by David Owen Jones, newspaper clippings, a U.S. Department of Agriculture activities report mentioning Jones, and a handwritten note to Dr. Jones from Professor Larry Kunkle. The collection date span 1958 to 1981.
