            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>George Robert Holsinger, Jr. (1925-) came to Ohio State University in 1947 as a staff member working with WOSU and WOSU-TV. He was appointed Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in 1958 and appointed Dean of Part-time and Continuing Education in 1961. He served as Executive Assistant to President Novice Fawcett from 1966 to 1968 and Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs from 1968 to 1975. He retired as a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1987.</p>
