 Historical Note

John Thomas Mount (1918-2014) joined Ohio State University's faculty as an assistant professor in the College of Agriculture and 4-H program supervisor in 1946. He was appointed as Administrative Assistant to President Novice Fawcett in 1957. Beginning in 1960, he held four vice presidency positions: Vice President and Secretary of Ohio State University, Vice President of Educational Services, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Vice President for Regional Campuses. He retired in 1983.

Mount) Records contain correspondence, alumni support, legislative reports, council notes and other administrative files from the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the President during John Mount's appointment from 1957 to 1960.
