As of 2018, Midwest APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities (MAPPA) is a regional affiliate of APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities that serves Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The group was formed in 1955 to supplement the work of its national level organization (called National Association of Physical Plant Administrators of Universities and Colleges (NAPPA) at the time), by providing resources and opportunities specific to the midwest region.
The Midwest APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities Records contain administrative records, including by-laws, a constitution, and articles of incorporation. The collection also contains a history, a video recording, and digital photographs. Materials are dated 1955 and 1982-2013.
