The Association for the Advancement of Progressive Education was a group dedicated to the spread of progressive education in American public schools from 1919 to 1955. The group's name was briefly changed to the American Education Fellowship from 1947-1953. In 1953, the group became the Progressive Education Association before becoming defunct in 1955.
The American Education Fellowship Records contain meeting minutes and other files of the Board of Directors and various committees and commissions, correspondence, publications, and other administrative records dated 1947-1954.
