The Ohio Extension Professors Association was an organization within the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension service, made up of Extension faculty members. Its purpose was to "represent needs, wants, and interests of the state Extension faculty of The Ohio State University," in implementing "effective communication with the membership, university community, and the public," participating in policy determination, and to recommend opportunities for professional growth. The Association elected various committees to address current issues, facilitate discussions, and plan annual conferences. Records exist for the organization up through 1984.
The Ohio State University, Ohio Extension Professors Association Records contain annual and committee reports, newsletters, notes, and minutes of the Ohio Extension Professors Association. Reports of individual committees within the Association focus on various subjects such as salary studies, liability and insurance, transportation, communications, social events, Ohio State University budgets, and scholarships. Collection materials date from 1962 to 1984.
