 Historical Note

The first Farm Science Review was held by Ohio State University in 1963 as an agricultural trade and education show. It replaced the College of Agriculture's "Farm and Home Week," which had ended in 1959. The purpose of the Review was to demonstrate plantings, showcase new farm machinery and supplies, and provide a place for the College of Agriculture, Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, and the Agricultural Extension Service to show educational exhibits. As of 2017, the Farm Science Review was still sponsored by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and was located in London, Ohio.

 Scope and Contents

The Ohio State University, Farm Science Review Records contain annual reports, programs, committee minutes, photographs, scrapbooks, posters, and other publications advertising or reporting on Farm Science Review events. The collection materials date from 1926-2021.
