 Historical Note

In the early 1920's, Ohio State University's Agricultural Extension Service began research on apple blotch control. Later, a centralized apple scab spray was developed by Extension's plant pathologists. This research was revisited and new research on apple scab fungicides was performed by Extension's plant pathologists until at least the 1960's.
