            <p>Taylor Reed (1932-1993) was an American musical theatre actor, active in the last half of the 20th century. He was involved in theatre while he attended college at Brigham Young University. Reed was also an active member of The Kenley Players, an Equity summer theater company that toured Ohio and other Midwestern cities from 1940 through 1996.</p>

            <p>The Taylor Reed Papers contain materials spanning from circa 1940s through 1981 and include production programs, musical scripts and scores. Several of the scripts are from performances by the Kenley Players. Also included are several theatre publications on acting and announcing.</p>
