Materials range in date around the early 20th century. Emile Jacques-Dalcroze (1865-1950) was a Swiss composer, musician, and educator. Dalcroze developed techniques for musical training using movement. The Dalcroze Method consists of Eurhythmics, Solfege, and improvisation. Material is dated circa 1900 to 1930.</abstract>

            <p>Emile Jacques-Dalcroze (1865-1950) was a Swiss composer, musician, and educator. He developed techniques for musical training using movement. The Dalcroze Method consists of Eurhythmics, Solfege, and improvisation. He founded a Dalcroze school in Hellerau, Germany in 1910 and the Institute Jacques Dalcroze in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1915.</p>
