Biographical Note
As of 2017, Ginny Foster is an award-winning playwright from the American Pacific Northwest. Foster worked as a schoolteacher to support her family, but after retiring was able to begin writing plays. Foster’s plays often focus on little-known historical incidents, specifically in the Pacific Northwest and women's roles in them.
Scope and Contents
The Ginny Foster Papers contains drafts of scripts written by Ginny Foster. Also included are her poems and research materials for a play about the Stutter Orphans.
